by Skip Cohen I've shared many photographs of my folks over the years, and since today would be my mother's 95th birthday, it's the perfect opportunity to show her off, but that's not my main point. If there is a benefit to the pandemic, it's all about time - we simply have more of it than usual. Now combine time with our industry. Regardless of what you do in imaging, from the manufacturing side of hardware and software to artists who capture and create, along with all the companies who provide support, we help people make the intangible tangible. We give everyone the tools to hold onto their memories. You don't need to wait until Throwback Thursday to appreciate old photographs and take a walk down Memory Lane. And with Mom's birthday today, I went on the hunt. She was a pretty amazing woman, and like so many kids, I wish I had appreciated her more early on. This a short post this morning with my most favorite quote about photography. Take the time to find those old photographs that will make your heart soar. Then capture today's memories so that years from now, your kids have throwbacks of their own to appreciate. And to my Mom - sure do miss ya. Happy Birthday! This is what I like about photographs.
They're proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect. Jodi Picoult
