![]() We're still in north Georgia and Internet support is weak. While I'd love to do a rant on Verizon, it's a lot more fun to just enjoy a day away from the blog and wish all of you an outstanding day with family, friends or just by yourself, enjoying something you love to do. It's hard to believe I could be any place that's difficult to get on line, but at the same time it's pretty sweet. I've got time to enjoy my own family and for once, practice what I preach. Yesterday was one of the busiest days we've ever had on the SCU site, primarily because of the link to Dragon Con. Regardless, SCU would still be a pipe dream without the support of you, my readers, the partners, contributors to all the guest posts and an amazing faculty. Just saying "thanks" doesn't really cover it, but it's the best I can do. Projects like this never happen in a vacuum, but are the result of dozens of different passionate people within this industry. Just to share a few more images with Panasonic's LUMIX GH3... I had a little more fun with the camera while walking around Dahlonega, GA yesterday, with this classic parked on the main drag. While it's just a grab shot while playing tourist, I love the results, right out of the can. These were shot with the 12-35mm lens. Wishing everybody a wonderful holiday. Safe travels if you're out and about and as always, hug somebody special!

Our Partners"Why?"Check out "Why?" one of the most popular features on the SCU Blog. It's a very simple concept - one image, one artist and one short sound bite. Each artist shares what makes the image one of their most favorite. We're over 130 artists featured since the project started. Click on the link above and you can scroll through all of the episodes to date.
