People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care!

Your website is about what you sell, but your blog is about what's in your heart. And part of what should be in your heart is reminding people what you do for a living. This is your opportunity to be helpful while at the same time build your reputation as an imaging artist.

I wanted to do a brain dump of ideas for blog content, and here it is today. So whether you're doing a formal blog regularly or using your Facebook page with posts relevant to your readership, here are a few dozen ideas for content, including Community Profiles. Profile stories are one of my favorites and a great way to get your community involved in your blog.

The whole idea behind "Sound Advice" is to help you focus on making 2022's seasonality the best ever! There are so many opportunities this year to increase revenue - but it all starts with you getting the message out to the community and your readers.

Remember, you snooze you lose. Stop procrastinating and take advantage of all the opportunities available to get your target audience thinking about your skill set this holiday season!

I hate to be a naysayer here
Blogs are for SEO, nothing more.
the tiniest of percentages of people read blogs, this particular statement I only came across because I'm avoiding editing at the moment.
The day of the blog is about 15 years over. Clients under 35, want the rapid ability to see an image that gives them the feels, the pricing, and then they will look for some more before they contact them.
A great recommendation from venue or planner is huge, but the only way they find you via web search is via SEO, which is depending on the blog.

This isn't to suggeset they don't CARE what you feel, but their overarching concern, IF they are moved by the pictures, IF they are swayed by how you place your images, IF you've got a fast loading website, and IF you're pricing is easy to find and is in their idea of what a wedding photographer should cost, then they MAY read the blog and say, "isn't that sweet"

what you say about a client you don't have on a blog is pretty far down the list, what the clients say about you, or what the planners do, that usually has much more sway than having to endlessly regurgitate the word "unique" and "charming" or "lovely"
