The July 4th holiday has always been one of my favorites. It's mid-summer and has always been an excuse for excessive consumption of hot dogs and burgers on the grill. However, it was only in the last few years I thought more about what today's celebration really represents. I suppose the pandemic and the loss of so much freedom made me appreciate what we all have. There's so much we take for granted. Wishing everybody a day of family, friends, and appreciation for everything we have as Americans. Happy 4th of July!
