The Tamron Theater

"All of us tend to think of Tamron as a great manufacturer of optics. Let's face it, they make GREAT glass, but there's another aspect to Tamron's incredible presence in the industry. They believe in education and support for photographers who are working professionals, aspiring pros and serious hobbyists. They're all about helping you with the quality of every image you capture, from their workshops and Tailgate Tour to tech support online, Customer Service and all of their educational material.

In the Tamron Theater we're sharing videos, podcasts, guest posts and images from some of the very best artists in the world.

Welcome to the Tamron Theater!"

The boyz are back on the road again, and they've caught up to another member of the Tamron Tech Team, Armando Flores, who lives in Los Angeles. Classic humor, great images and another short video snapshot of photographers on the road together.

I'll admit that knowing both Ken and Andre like I do, I get a real kick out of the humor of the two of them traveling around the country. However, if you haven't been by the Tamron booth at a convention or a dealer program and actually met them, you'll still enjoy the dryness of the humor. But, even better is the quality of the images they're sharing.

Here and there, you'll pick up a few tips on photography. For example, I love the two images below that Andre grabbed while standing under a couple of the overpasses of the freeway. He's in a location very few of us would even bother to stop, let alone get out of the car.

Heading down to Santa Monica pier, there's very little that beats a California sunset with the two images by Ken and Andre below. But my personal favorite and again, it's only because I know these guys, is the three of them sitting on the bumper of the van, continuing to search for the ultimate tamale.

Tamron once again is totally focused on the quality of this year's Mobile Learning Center. The tech team is on the road throughout the country with great hands-on workshops, each designed to help you raise the bar on your skill set and give you a chance to test drive Tamron's incredible lens line. Plus, there are four new prime lenses in the family for you to check out.

They're on the road in four cities in California for the rest of May. Each program runs from 10am - 5pm with the following schedule and no registration required - you just need to be there!

10:15am-11:00am Travel & Nature Techniques   11:15am-12:15pm Bring Your Camera, Hands-On Shooting

Now Armando can add "LA Photo Safari guide" to his long list of skills. Mexican food connoisseur was already there. He hasn't change one bit in the 25++ years I've known him. He's the Dick Clark of the photography industry... Cool video, thanks for sharing it Skip!
