The Tamron Theater

"All of us tend to think of Tamron as a great manufacturer of optics. Let's face it, they make GREAT glass, but there's another aspect to Tamron's incredible presence in the industry. They believe in education and support for photographers who are working professionals, aspiring pros and serious hobbyists. They're all about helping you with the quality of every image you capture, from their workshops and Tailgate Tour to tech support online, Customer Service and all of their educational material.

In the Tamron Theater we're sharing videos, podcasts, guest posts and images from some of the very best artists in the world.

Welcome to the Tamron Theater!"

The Boyz Are Back in Town!

The industry's favorite "odd couple" is back on the road with a new season of Tamron's Unofficial Field Guide. Andre Costantini and Ken Hubbard are at again with plenty of classic sarcasm together with their unique passion for imaging and stunning shots.

They're on the road in Lake Tahoe and joining them is Patrick Nagle, another member of Tamron's Tech Team. Patrick brings another dimension to the trip and the content.

In this first episode of the season, Andre gets the sunrise shot because, "...Ken didn't because he was fumbling with the crap in his bag!" Ken, not to be outdone though, came back with a stunning black and white, "We lost the color that was in the sky, but I think it's going to make a nice black and white"...

Remember, these are just screen shots I'm grabbing to share a point or two about the video. To really appreciate the quality of the images just watch the video!

What I enjoyed most about this first video in the new series is the amount of "how-to" content. Both Andre and Ken always share a lot, but bringing Patrick's expertise into the episode adds a lot more to the mix, especially when he's doing some outdoor lighting on the slopes!

Tamron USA is always focused on ways to help artists raise the bar on the quality of their images. Great glass is a big part of what makes Tamron such a great company, but the other ingredients come in the form of their commitment to education and passion for imaging.

Meanwhile, the boyz are back and I can't wait to follow another season of Andre, Ken and the team on the road across the US. Check out the schedule for Tamron's Mobile Learning Center. It's just a click away.
