We all have industry artists we follow for different reasons. It might be the way they teach, or maybe we've seen some of their images or met them at a convention or workshop. I've got Tamron's tech team on my list. The relationship started years ago with my first Tamron lens for a DSLR. Later years brought some of the team to "Skip's Summer School" each year. I've been fortunate to have met and worked with many of them. However, for a lot of you the only introduction to the team is through their videos and blog posts.

I found this short video in Tamron's archives. It was posted months ago, but not that many people ever saw it. Here's the entire plot/script. No words, no text, just Andre Costantini kicking back and shooting with Tamron's 28-300mm Di VC PZD lens. He's cruising on a flatboat through the Bayou and even takes the time to grab a shot of a dragonfly that lands on his leg.

I pulled a few of my favorites as screen shots to share in this post because I enjoy the way Andre sees the world. He's no stranger here at SCU. One of my favorite videos I've shared was his one about painting with light. It's a classic with a lot of solid "how-to" content.

Andre and the entire tech team are on the road throughout the United States for the year. If they're coming to a city near you, make it a point to not miss their workshops.
