Two talented artists with different styles, six different workshops on the schedule and an infinite potential to help you raise the bar on your images! Oh yeah, and have a lot of fun in the process! Meet two of my good buddies, Rob Knight and Rick Gerrity. I met them both a few years ago as part of Panasonic's Luminary team . My respect for both of them just keeps growing, not just as friends, but as talented artists and educators. They got together last year with their Route 66 workshops and now they're launching a whole series in some truly wonderful locations.
Here's the official announcement... "Panasonic LUMIX Luminaries Rob Knight and Rick Gerrity are taking their enthusiasm and experience on the road again in 2015! They have created a series of photography workshops to get your creative juices flowing and improve your photography. What sets Digital Photo Adventure workshops apart is a focus on unique experiences and having FUN on the road. If you want to go beyond the usual tourist spots and postcard shots, then these workshops are for you. Digital Photo Adventures offers small groups with two instructors to maximize your opportunities for learning. Rick and Rob are both professional educators, in addition to being talented photographers. They have years of experience traveling and helping their clients make great photos. Rob and Rick are well-versed in still photography, as well as video and hybrid photography techniques. If you’re excited to expand your horizons, they can help you jump into some new ways to express yourself and tell your story. New workshops this year include the Monterey Bay Photo Adventure. This three-day road trip features iconic locations like the Santa Cruz boardwalk, Cannery Row in Monterey, CA, Big Sur and much more. Another new road trip is the Colorado Photo Adventure. Rick and Rob will show you a glimpse the Rocky Mountains while you shoot ghost towns, railroads and more from Colorado’s rugged past. Rob and Rick are returning to a few of their favorite spots this year as well. Rob has been shooting and teaching in Costa Rica since 2010, and he is excited to take Rick along for the adventure this year. This trip is always popular and it’s sure to be the best one yet. The guys are leading their second workshop along historic Route 66 in Arizona, and adding Route 66 in New Mexico to the schedule as well. Be sure to check out DigitalPhotoAdventures.com for a full schedule of photo workshops. You’ll find the full event descriptions and registration on the website, and you can join the mailing list to stay up to date on future workshops."
