At both IUSA and WPPI, my good buddy, Frederick Van Johnson of TWiP (This Week in Photo) had an outstanding series of interviews each day. Each program was so much more than just the typical interview. While every conversation had a different aspect of imaging to consider, which I'll be sharing in the weeks ahead, this one with another good buddy, Bob Coates, is all about fine art in photography. Bob and I have been friends for a lot of years and I've watched him grow as an artist. His passion for imaging is non-stop and I'm convinced he's creating some of the finest works of his career right now. Most important of all is his enthusiasm. You'll find his blog, "Successful-Photographer" loaded with great content and just like this video with Frederick, he's always ready to help with information to help you raise the bar on your own work. I can't put together a post like this without sharing a few of my favorite images from Bob's archives... Images copyright Bob Coates. All rights reserved.
