Spotlight Post - Russell Grace and Angela Kullmann

So here's the short version of the back story on Russell Grace and Angela Kullmann. Two years ago Sheila and I met them at an art show here in Sarasota. A few months later Angie did a guest post and then we spent the next two years trying to find a time to catch up for dinner during one of the art shows in the area.

We finally made it last month when they were here for a show in St. Petersburg. They're back on the road again and Russell sent me this shot from Chicago this morning that I just love. Russell and Angie are purists, shooting infrared film exclusively. Infrared is a kick and at this point, I think their "mind's eye" sees things in infrared...film, NOT a filter in Photoshop!

Look for a guest post one of these days soon on anticipating the light and the decisive moment - it's definitely different when you're shooting infrared film. Meanwhile, enjoy one of Russell's newest images and one of my favorites!
