Plus, it's, even more, fun finding another interview featuring two of my friends, Tamara Lackey and Dixie Dixon. Tamara and I have worked on so many different projects together. She and Dixie are also both members of the SCU Faculty. They both offer some stellar advice for photographers just starting out.  (Visit Tamara's faculty page and then check out Dixie's.)

I first met Dixie when she won WPPI's Hy Sheanin Scholarship in 2008. It was her first big convention, but even as a rookie, her poise and passion for the craft were obvious. Since then her work has appeared in magazines all over the world, and she's set the standard for behind the scenes videos, now a regular part of her coverage for each client.
