One of the biggest challenges for so many photographers, both new to the industry and even a few seasoned professionals is when to use a flash. In fact, lighting, in general, is typically at the top of many artists' greatest needs in their technique skill set.

Nobody does it better than Joe McNally when it comes to compact, to the point videos on technique. In this great "Photo on the Go" video from 2014, Joe takes us through some great "how-to" content. This is just one of 52 videos featuring Joe in the Adorama TV archives on YouTube. Just like their slogan says, they're "more than a camera store."

It's that time of year. A time when a lot of photographers are deciding on new gear for the year ahead. Make sure you visit Adorama and check out their product selection as well as terrific pricing. Plus, if you're looking for a high ticket item, but think you'd like to test drive it first, don't forget about rental! Rental give you a way to utilize Adorama's capital without depleting yours!

And, don't forget to keep track of Joe's teaching schedule this year. You'll find it all in the workshop section of his website.
