One of the great things about living in California when I was with Rangefinder Magazine and WPPI was the time difference. I could go to a New Year's Eve party and still be home by 10:00! At 9:00 pm, we'd watch the ball drop in NYC, celebrate the start of a new year, and go home. Now, living back in the Eastern Time Zone, we're expected to stay up to midnight! LOL Well, while my intentions are focused on staying up, that's why God created the DVR...my bet is that we'll make it to 10:00, maybe even 10:30, and watch the ball drop in the morning. I could be wrong, but past history suggests we'll never make it to midnight. However, one definite event of this New Year's Eve, happening long before midnight, is wishing all of you a happy, healthy, dry, and safe new year! I'm excited about a new year, but that pales to how ecstatic I am to see 2024 come to a close. Even though nothing really changes from one day to the next, it's a time when we all experience an attitude adjustment. A new year always comes with optimism, hope, and a whole lot of smiles. Thank you for your support, feedback, and, with many of you, a very special friendship. Happy New Year, everybody!
