by Skip Cohen It was 2008, and Scott Sheppard, who sadly passed away several years ago, interviewed me about WPPI's programming. And while it's a little long and definitely not in focus like it should have been, it's a kick to think back to the days when we were at Paris and Bally's. This was the year before the move to MGM, which continued to grow, as we took over the entire hotel, including the Garden Arena. But part of the fun of an 18-year-old video like this is the location. We were in the back hall of Bally's that led to many of the conference rooms. As Scott and I are talking, check out the people walking by. I spotted Arlene Evans, and later Bill Hurter on his "golf cart." Also, the Young Guns program I mentioned was highlighted in a previous Throwback Thursday post. Here's the link. If you haven't been to any of the major conferences in professional imaging, put them down on your calendar for the months and years ahead. A great conference isn't just about what you can learn, but the people you'll meet and your ability to expand your network. These days, a great network is invaluable!
