Die with memories, not dreams. Anonymous by Skip Cohen
Because it's Friday and the start of a holiday weekend (if you're in the US), this will probably sound more like a Sunday Morning Reflections post. The quote above was the other day on the wheel cover of a Jeep. I threw it into Google when I got home, only to find it's been used everywhere. But it was new to me! Labor Day weekend needs to be a special memory-maker for so many of you. It's that one break to recharge your battery before seasonality starts to ramp up. It's the perfect time to kick back and make a few new memories. Use the time to relax - step away from the challenges of your business and clear your head. You need to make room for those creative juices to flow. This is the time to shut out all the distractions and "negators" in your life. You know how to hold focus with your camera - well, you need to do the same with your heart. And while I know that sounds outrageously hokey, being in business today requires a level of stamina, both mentally and physically, unlike anything in the past. Wishing everybody a terrific weekend and time to kick back and appreciate everybody important in your life. Make a few new memories and if you capture them with a camera in your hands, remember who the client is...YOU!
