One of the best things about social media is keeping track of where your friends are. Just to say "I live vicariously through their adventures" would be a huge understatement. Kris Andres was teaching in Mongolia and recently shared the image above. But as much as I loved the photograph, his description was even better! As the sun sets in the Gobi, the light hits the sand, the shadows dance and play for such a short time! Capturing this golden light as it changes the colours of the dunes is one of my favourite moments in the Gobi. Add some amazing mongols and a couple camels and it is something out of a story book. Check out more of his work with a jump to his website. It's just a click away! And stay up to date with all of his travels and workshops by putting his Facebook page on your radar.

Each artist shares what makes the image one of their most favorite. We're over 100 artists featured since the project started.
