Even a Blizzard Didn't Slow Down Clay Blackmore!
It's one of my most favorites videos of Clay and while it might be an infomercial for PocketWizard there's a lot you can learn about how Clay shoots in the next two minutes. The final image became a signature shot and one that most photographers would have never done, considering the weather. Nothing slows Clay down!
Pose It, Light It, Love It...
Here's the video trailer for the workshop Clay Blackmore teaches on his own, but I've never seen a better example of what you learn when working with Clay. Now imagine what it's going to be like taking his wedding workshop at SCU this August and then just hanging out with him in the evening. In fact there are several shots in this video that were done when he taught in last year's program! It's a little over a minute and loaded with energy!

Sunflowers, Summer Time and Clay Blackmore
I'll be the first to admit, it's an older video, posted a year and a half ago, but when I find some of these pieces I love the educational value. This one especially hits on a series of images so many portrait photographers will be trying to create in the months of head, it's the "subject in a field shot"! I honestly don't mean to sound sarcastic, it's stunning setting whether a field of tall grass or sunflowers like Clay's working in. My issue is, if you're going to do it then do it right. At the beginning of the video Clay lets you know right off the bat, he's about to try everything. And while the video might only be ninety seconds, follow the images and things you're going to see him do to mix it up, even with infrared.
Clay Blackmore is one of the finest wedding and portrait photographers in the world, because he's never stopped learning. He's never stopped experimenting and if you've attended a summer program with us, you know he never slows down! He'll be in Chicago with us again this summer at SCU's Summer Session. Hope to see you there!

The Skill Set Clay Blackmore Brings to Every Workshop
Whether you're attending an SCU program or not, doesn't make any difference. You need to give up two minutes and fifteen seconds and just listen to what the Dean of SCU's Wedding School says in this video.
