The winner for the second contest for adventure, travel and landscape, July 1 - September 10, 2014 and just recently announced, was Paul Armstrong.  His winning video, Iceland 2014 - A Photographer's Heaven is below.

Together, Photodex and SCU are searching for the ultimate wedding story.  It has to be told through the creative use of photos, videos and audio. Enter your best wedding and engagement videos for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from Panasonic, ProFoto, Colormunki, Resource Magazine and Photodex.

As with each contest, we have a stellar panel of judges, all with good solid experience in wedding photography as well as being educators, William Innes, Kristen Jensen andNeal Clipper.

Between SCU and Photodex, we couldn't be more excited about the contest and impressed with the quality of work that's been submitted for each contest so far. We also appreciate the support of several outstanding partners who have created an amazing prize package!

We had a terrific response to our first contest and now the second one is underway. This one has a very special theme designed to work with those vacations so many of you are going to be doing over the summer.  It's about adventure, nature and landscape videos. Photodex and SCU are looking for great video storytellers and you just might be the next one in the spotlight.

Besides great prizes from Panasonic, Profoto, Photodex and X-Rite, the winning video will be published on the Resource Magazine website. It's an incredible opportunity for great gear and recognition!

Technology is constantly pushing the edge of the envelope and as artists, you have more creative tools at your disposal than at any other time in the history of photography. Nobody can tell the story of an event better than a photographer and Photodex and SCU want to recognize your ability to tell a story.

Welcome to our search for the Ultimate Story.  We know you're buried in contests from all over the industry, but this one is a lot different. We've got three great judges, each themselves master storytellers, some great partners to help sponsor the event and a great publication to help us spread the word when we've found the winner.

The video below will fill you in more and then a click on the link and you can get all the details, prize information and meet the judges.  This first contest in the series kicks off April 1. Final date for submissions is June 10 and the winner will be announced on June 20, 2014.

This is more than just another photography contest. This is about finding great storytellers and with this first contest, it doesn't matter what your story is about - weddings, vacations, outdoor/wildlife, family, children and pet photography, whatever your creative spirit decides to share.
