This is our fifth episode, and Jeff is the perfect candidate for a spotlight post like this. While his primary focus is wedding and event photography, he's photographed families, pets, landscapes and the last four Olympics. In fact, I'm not sure there's anything Jeff can't shoot. What I love is his comment about being so diverse. With enough discipline and focus on being the very best, Jeff is proof you can be as diverse as you want to be.
Jeff is based in northern California. Like many of the artists we've featured, he's in one of the most competitive markets in professional photography and constantly works to never compromise on the quality of his work. He's a remarkable artist and educator, and as I mentioned on the video, he's currently B&H's most viewed instructor.
Technology is constantly creating new tools to raise the bar on your technique, expand your reach and offer your clients new and creative products to help you build your brand and your business. Each artist featured in the Building Your Business spotlight posts/podcasts all share a few common denominators. They're using Photodex software to build slide shows of still images and videos to create exciting products for their clients; their passion for imaging is nonstop, and they never stop learning.
Check out more of Jeff's work on his website and definitely follow his blog. As you listen to the podcast, pay attention to the way Jeff talks about how he made it a point to learn water polo when it was new to him. His point about knowing the sport in order to do a great job photographing it is so significant.
A big thanks to Jeff for taking the time for the podcast and also to the team at Photodex. I decided to share two of Jeff's slide shows because I love the Best of 2014 idea as a promotional piece on his site, but also loved the diversity he demonstrates with his work from the Olympics.
